communities to help the police to moderate the speed of vehicles

Thanks to all the hard work of the Hankelow Amenities Group and of the many helpers on the day,
and the wonderful support received at our summer fete in June,
Val Morrey and Rose Smith delivered a cheque for £1000 on behalf of the group to St Luke's Hospice at Winsford.
The Amenities Committee would like to thank everyone who
supported Hankelow Village Fete, in any way, on Sunday, 19th June
2022.
We are pleased to say that this charity event was very successful and
we were able to donate £1,000 each to our two main charities this year, St. Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice
and Cheshire Young Carers.
We were also able to donate a further
£600 to various other local charities.

Thank you from the Shentons
We were absolutely honoured and overwhelmed by the kindness and
generosity of all who contributed in so many ways to the Charity Event
held at Hankelow Hall on the 14 August 2021. A very special place
in our hearts, to raise funds for Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in memory
of Ava May Fellows. An amazing £16,537.13 was raised! We
could not believe it!
We would also like to give special thanks to the bridesmaids who
were all instrumental in making the event so successful due to their
hard work in collecting the raffle prizes and putting everything
together!
Huge thanks and
appreciation from the Shentons and the Fellows. Thank you all so
much.
