The Lord Combermere are resuming their popular take-away service with a new menu.

Williams in Audlem have posted their New Year opening times, and Audlem Post Office will be closed until January 11th. Farm Made tearooms in Audlem is open for takaways.

Williams in Audlem have posted their Christmas opening times, and Braids are closed until the 29th.

Audlem Post Office have published their opening hours over the Christmas period.  They will be closed for two weeks until January 11th.

Nick Jarvis, our PCSO, has posted a warning on AOL to be aware of shed and garage break-ins, purse dipping and car break-ins.

Times for the Audlem Christmes Church services have been posted on AOL, The Bells of Audlem Church will ring at 10:10 on Christmas morning - the first time since the March lockdown.

Audlem Brass will be playing Christmas music around Audlem tonight (23rd).

The Charity shop in Audlem are planning to put the stalls out on Thursday and Saturday, weather permitting.

Cheshire East have put out a lot of new media releases recently - go to their Media Hub to see them all. They include a foster care programme, carer's rights day, a household waste recycling consultation, a warning of Black Friday scams and a consultation on transport and parking.

The Roadworks sign has disappeared from Longhill Lane, and no more closures appear to be planned in the next few days.

Longhill Lane was closed again on the morning of the 18th, but opened later on. The One Network website shows it should be closed until the 20th, but a sign up the lane informs us that it will be closed from the 20th for 5 days - confusing!! The sign may be linked to white painted markings which have appeared on the road just on the Hankelow side of Santosha kennels.

Police are warning of dog theft attempts in South Cheshire.

Cheshire East want your feedback on green priorities.

Planning permission has been granted for the latest alterations to the White Lion, so work can resume.

The Cheshire East consultation on the Hankelow Neighbourhood Plan is now closed. The council will now appoint an independent external examiner to review and hopefully approve the plan.

AOL reported a theft at Corbook Lodge on Sunday, November 8th. We have added a request from the owners to Hankelow residents on the Notices page, in case anyone can help with CCTV footage.

Cheshire East Council are continuing to push ahead with the plans for the regeneration of Crewe town centre.

London Road will be closed for resurfacing between Stapely and Bridgemere until 11th December, according to the One Network website. The official diversion route is through Hankelow and Audlem.

The Saturday bus service through Hankelow has been reinstated, just in time for the second lockdown.

As well as the Audlem remembrance service mentioned below, St. Mary's church in Nantwich will also be streaming a service, beginning at 10:55. Here is the link to their service.

The Remembrance service in St. James Church on Sunday November 8th cannot take place as planned. However a service will still be streamed online. Please use this link if you would like to follow the service and act of remembrance.
